Best Memory TSUM

Reviewed Tour Budget Tsum Valley Trek (3 months ago)

I just completed the Tsum Valley trek (without the Manaslu circuit), and it was an incredible experience. This trek is perfect for those who prefer an immersive cultural journey over a physical challenge - ideal for anyone interested in exploring Tibetan customs, visiting monasteries, and taking in breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains. In this small Tibetan enclave on the border of Nepal, you'll encounter local families in their unique villages and enjoy their customs, all under the majestic view of the Ganesh Himal range (over 7000 m). The trek was flawlessly organized by MCT, and my guide, Rajan, who is from the area, was exceptionally professional and attentive. It was a truly memorable experience.

An isolated tibetan settlement

I just finished the Tsum Valley trek without the Manaslu circuit, and it was wonderful—especially for those not looking for a challenging trek but interested in learning about Tibetan customs, visiting monasteries, and enjoying the stunning snowy mountain landscapes. In this little Tibet on the edge of Nepal, you will meet Tibetan families in their typical villages and appreciate their customs under the watchful gaze of the Ganesh Himal (+7000 m). The organization by MCT (Nim) was perfect, particularly because my guide, Gopi, was from the region, very professional, and attentive to me. It was a fantastic experience. Dan Nepat

Exceptional Manaslu Trek

Reviewed Tour Budget Manaslu Trek (9 months ago)

After scouring trekking companies in Thamel, MCT stood out for its exceptional service for Manaslu Trek on budget. Friendly and honest, Nim (the owner) offered the best prices without any haggling needed, making the budgeting process stress-free. He even accommodated our special requests like transferring our non-hike belongings to Pokhara to meet us after our hike at no additional cost. Additionally, MCT provided great flexibility, allowing us to change or add trekking days as we desired.

Great Experience!

Reviewed Tour Budget Manaslu Trek (1 year ago)

In December, we spent 3 weeks in Nepal for the first time, tackling the Manaslu circuit with MCT. It was an unforgettable experience. The whole preparation was absolutely smooth; they offered expert advice on gear, and they even lent us some items we didn't have. Our guide, Dibas, was very nice and helpful. We learned a lot about Nepal from him; he was highly knowledgeable and experienced. It was an absolutely great experience, and we are already thinking of going back to Nepal for another trek, definitely with MCT.

Amazing Experience

Reviewed Tour Budget Tsum Valley Trek (2 years ago)

This wasn't just any trek, it was my third in Nepal and absolutely incredible! You start by diving into Tibetan culture in Tsum Valley. It's like stepping back in time, seeing how life has been for the locals for ages.

My favorite part? The days leading up to the Tibetan border! Crossing Larke la pass was unreal, but the absolute highlight was the acclimatization hike to Pung Gyen Gompa. This Buddhist monastery, perched at 4300 meters at the base of Manaslu, is magical. Not only do you get to explore it, but you're surrounded by a 360-degree panorama of snow-capped giants, 7000 to 8000 meters high! Mind-blowing!

If you're looking to Manaslu trek, I can't recommend MCT enough. They made this mountain experience the absolute best!
